one of our

www.walknowforautismspeaks.org/pittsburgh
Today, it is estimated that one in
every 110 children (1 in 70 boys) is diagnosed with autism, making it more
common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined. An
estimated 1.5 million individuals in the U.S. and tens of millions worldwide are
affected by autism. Government statistics suggest the prevalence rate of autism
is increasing 10-17 percent annually. Autism is the fastest-growing serious
developmental disorder. Every 20 minutes, another family receives the
devastating news that their child is autistic.
Please help us to help them!!
Most of you do not know this, but
John and I found out 2 years ago that our son is autistic. I can't begin to tell
you how devastating this disorder can be to an entire family when faced with the
challenges autism brings.
So please accept the generosity of
Big Dog Vending and enjoy your picnic, but please give back to help those in
need.
We hope to see all of you there!!
Last day to submit a Roster for
the Summer Session!!
We will still collect toys and
donations for Children's Hospital
at December's Banquet.
